The Internet is Vast and Confusing. If you look for the right places, a lot of Gackt Merchandise is available for the buying in the US (or any other countries for that matter). But how can you spot FAKE merchandise? Where are some LEGIT sites you can buy things from? Introducing the highly-handy Gackt Merchandise, your saftey guide to buying Gackt Stuff.


Spotting Fake Merchandise
Here are some things that you should NOT invest money into. Even if it LOOKS good, it's not REAL.

Item #1 : Ebay : Gackt Shirts
FYI: Sawasdee Gackt is NOT a clothing company. Be aware: ANY shirts you see on EBay are NOT manufactured. They are, in fact, iron ons. Some of them are just a fancy-kind of iron on. But, on some shirts, you see 'SAWASDEE GACKT' on the image. Sawasdee Gackt is a Web Site, and the maker of the shirt just printed out an image that is available there. If you want a Gackt Shirt that badly, find a nice picture on the internet, buy Iron On Transfers, print, iron on a shirt, and VIOLA! Your very own Gackt shirt. Don't pay someone else for it.

Item #2 : Ebay / VOE : Ever Anime CD's
FYI: Ever Anime CD's are rip-off copies of CD's made to look fancy and good. BUT, they are very much FAKE, and are no better then a CD you burn at home. Any CD with the EVER ANIME logo should not be an investment. Some ways of telling if a CD/DVD is a rip-off is reading the titles of songs that they list. On Ever Anime CD's, Emu ~For My Dear~ is spelled "[japanese kanji] ~for my deay~. Obviously, a legit CD producing company would spot that mistake. Also, there is a fake Mars DVD that is out on EBay and even on some other sites. On the back, it will say "U+A" instead of "U+K". If ever you shop on EBay, make SURE the seller has an image of the BACK of the CD. If they can get a picture of the front: they can get one of the back. And I'm also told the site VOE sells the rip-off copies of these CD's. Avoid that.

Item #3 : Ebay : Gackt Images
FYI: I haven't seen these. BUT, I am told that, floating around on Ebay, stalks a seller who's pawning of images of himself as Gackt. I highly suggest that if you are buying Postcards/Images/Cards/Etc. from Ebay, check out a Gackt site that has a lot of pictures (Sawasdee Gackt, for instance) and see if one of the pictures is there. If it's up on that site, it's more then likely a real picture of Gackt and not some freaky dude who's trying to look like him.

Many online stores (Best Buy, Circuit City, etc.) now carry an official overseas version of Moon Child. Keep in mind that this is an overseas version, and does not come with any of the extras that Japan's verison does.
